Accountants:
Requirements
(a) completion of university qualifications comparable to an Australian undergraduate degree
(b) completion of at least of the twelve listed Accounting core units
Engineers:
Requirements:
(a) Bachellor degree in engineering
(b) Submission of a Competency Demonstratio Report
General Occupations (50-point) & some trade occupations for selected countries
For non-trade occupations:
(a) University qualification comparable to an Australian undergraduate degree
(b) one year's work experience in the nominated occupation (
from 1st Jan 2010)
IT Professionals:
Group A requirements
(a) completion of an univesity qualification (undergraduate or post graduate) in IT/Computer Science or Engineering
(b) 4 years work experience
Medical Professionals:
Nurses:
Occupational Therapists:
Requires
(a) completion of an program in OT currently approved by WFOT
(b) IELTS academic with 7 in each of the four components
Teachers:
Requires:
(a) University qualification comparable to an Australian undergraduate degree of four years duration
(b) Teaching qualification of one year full-time duration from univesity with at least 45 days of supervised teaching
(c) IELTS Acadmic with 7 or more in each of the four components
Trade Occupations:
Requires
(a) training and experience in the occupation
(b) a mixture of formal training and on the job experience
(c) an apprenticeship or vocational traineeship or six years work experience in engineering and metal trade and seven years in electrical trade
