Settling Gracefully in Australia by  :
When my clients receive their their visa grant letter, I run for them sessions on How to Settle Gracefully in Australia. These sessions are held in Dhaka. If there is more than one client who has got the visa grant letter at around the same time, we run a single session for them all, so that clients who are about to get on the "same boat" on their adventure beyond their home, to a totally unknown country and people, get to meet their mates before getting on the boat. These sessions are quite informal in which we tell my clients mainly about our own experience of migrating to Australia in 1980 and going through different stages of our lives and try to answer their many varied questions.
Many clients asked us to provide them with written copies of these briefings so that they can refer to them later at different stages of their own settling process in their new home in Australia. This page in this website is a result of that. From time to time we hope to prepare these guides, covering different aspects of settling in Australia, and post them on this website.

This is the first of our guides to help new migrants who are about to travel to Australia. The information in this guide is quite general. It may help others , who may not necessarily be new migrants, but from Bangladesh travelling to Australia for the first time as a visitor, on business, on cultural tour or as a student etc.
