Australian Colleges closed down

Following Australia colleges were recently closed down.  


*  Streling College (Sydney) ceased operation from 28 July 2009
*  Effective 17 July 2009 Melbourne Intentational College has ceased opetation.l
*  L & G Australia  Hair & Beauty College in Footscray was barred from operating for breaching trade college regulations. Source The Age article by Sushi Das 20 October 2008

You  will need to meet the following three requirements:

(a) Education:  Pass in at least in HSC or equivalent at least in 2nd division

(b) English:  6 in IELTS. Then you can go straight for the selected course.  If you have an IELTS score of 5.0 then needs to complete 10 weeks of English course before starting on your  course of study..

(c) Finance:  If you can get a sponsorship as follows

For applicants from Assessment Level 4 countries, which includes Bangladesh, the money to support you and your family members (tuition fees for the course program and maintenance money) must come from one or more acceptable sources, which may include:

• a money deposit with a financial institution that has been held for at least six consecutive months immediately before the date of your visa application by
  • you
  • your spouse
  • your brother or sister
  • your parents
  • your grandparents
  • your aunt or uncle (only if they usually live in Australia and are either a citizen/permanent resident of Australia or an eligible New Zealand citizen)
• a loan from a financial institution made to (and in the name of)
  • you
  • your spouse
  • your brother or sister
  • your parents
  • your grandparents
  • your aunt or uncle (only if they usually live in Australia and are either a citizen/permanent resident of Australia or an eligible New Zealand citizen)

There are several entry dates in a year as follows:

English: January 2, February 4, March 11, April 14, May 19, June 23, July 28, September 1, October 6, November 10

PET/FCE/CAE-January 2, March 11, September 15, IELTS – January 2nd then every 5 weeks

Automotive Mechanical Technology: February 4, April 21, July 7, September 22 , December 8

Community Welfare Work: February 4, April 21, July 7, September 22

Graphic Pre-Press & Multimedia: February 4, April 21, July 7, September 22, December 8

Frontline Management: April 21, September 22

Marketing: February 4, July 7

Hairdressing: January 7, February 2, March 3, March 31 and then 1st Monday of every month

The requirements for all courses are
